Charlie

Hi!  My name is Charlie and I'm looking for a very special foster home in the DC/MD/VA area.  I was surrendered to a North Carolina shelter by my owners before coming to OBG. Once here, they discovered that I have a non-operable cancer.  I'm so sad as I'm only 10 years old and thought I had my whole new life!  Although hard to know exactly how long I have left, it could be a few months or six months or longer!  Will you open your home up to me?

A little about me.  First, I'm good with other dogs!  I'm super friendly to people and have plenty of energy and pep in my step.  The vet's office was so surprised when they saw the mass.  My bloodwork looks great and my chest x-ray is clear of any cancer.  Oh, I'm also heartworm positive but due to my cancer, there is no reason to treat the heart worms and I'm showing no signs of issues.  I'm a happy boy!
