Almond is a sweet senior who was surrendered by his owner to a Maryland shelter. Almond is 11 years old and weighs 30 pounds. He’s a happy-go-lucky guy in search of his forever family. He rode quietly in the car during transport and waked nicely on the leash. He posed easily for his pictures with the offer of treats. :-)
Almond behaved very well at the vet for his exam and is keeping his crate clean. He’s good with other dogs too. Almond’s senior bloodwork came back looking perfect! While at the shelter, he had a small growth removed and biopsy results note it was a low grade cancer with clear margins. No additional treatment is needed.
