Wonderful Winnie is  looking for her forever home!  She is an approximately 10-year-old, 34 pound cocker mix (with Basset? Dachshund?) who came to us as a stray. While predominately cocker, Winnie has a long back, short legs and a full tail. Winnie has arthritis in her back and hips so needs a home with few stairs to maneuver.

Winnie has a zest for life. Every morning is a bright new start! If you are not careful, Winnie will bolt out the door so a fenced yard would be a plus.

Winnie is good with dogs and enjoys a friendly game of play with the foster cats. If her fur-ever home has cats, they will need to be dog savvy but she is not aggressive, just playful.  She is house trained and condo-friendly (not a lot of barking) with limited hearing. She loves to hang with her foster Mom and will occasionally play with foster brother.

Winnie is in need of a cardiology appointment to assess her Grade 5 (out of 6) heart murmur.  Once assessed, she needs a dental.  All expenses are covered by OBG!  Winnie does take daily medications for her arthritis and will most likely need to continue with these or Glucosamine supplements for the rest of her life.

If you can open your home and heart, please email her foster at the link below.
