Buddy

Four year old Buddy was found wandering around in South Carolina before a Good Samaritan saved him after his original owner said he didn't want him anymore.  Buddy is one of the sweetest cocker spaniels we've met!  He is great with the other dogs in his foster home.  He is house trained, rides quietly in the car and loves his people!  On walks around the neighborhood, he has been friendly with the kids. He loves, loves balls and toys!  He is wicked smart learning the doggie door within a few hours and maneuvers steps easily.

Buddy is healthy except he is heartworm positive.  He has started OBG-sponsored $1500 life-saving heartworm treatment.  He is still available for adoption during his 60 day treatment if you are located in the Washington, DC area.  After an examine and testing, Buddy's right eye appears to be congenital having never formed normally and doesn't needs any medication.  He has great vision in his other eye!
