Say hello to beautiful Blanche! She is a sweet, 5 month old, 20 pound girl. Blanche is looking for a single family home with a fully fenced-in yard (no e-fences). She needs a home without kids under the age of 12. Blanche is crate and house trained. In her foster home, Blanche lives with other dogs; however, she would be okay as only dog with an active adopter or with another laid back dog. Blanche is very loving and will just melt in your arms! Blanche enjoys her dog bed and doesn't get on furniture. She is blossoming in her foster home where she loves to play ball, chase toys, go for walks and dance to "Who Let the Dogs Out"! She is ready to find her forever family next!
Before applying, PLEASE carefully consider the following:
-Will someone be home every 3-4 hours to let the puppy outside during the day? Our general rule of thumb is that if a dog needs to be crated more than 6 hours/day total, then that dog is the wrong one for the person's lifestyle.
-Please consider a positive training class. More young dogs are surrendered for behavioral reasons than for any other.
-Lastly, please consider your summer travel plans before applying for a puppy. We do not adopt puppies more than 1-2 hours outside of the Washington DC area (we will adopt to Richmond and Baltimore).
