Hi!  My name is Grayson.  Although a cocker spaniel rescue brought me to my temporary home, I'm pure terrier mix!  My foster mom says I look great at 22 pounds, but I'll be even more perfect when I fill out a little.  I'm three years old, so I do have more energy than my older foster brothers, but foster mom says it's nice that I am done with all that puppy foolishness.

Let me tell you a little bit more about myself.  I LOVE my walks and if my foster mom would only let me off my leash, I bet I could catch those pesky squirrels!  When I'm walking with my foster canine brothers, we all get along, and we can all relax in the house together, too.  My walks are my favorite thing, and my second favorite is relaxing on the couch with my foster mom.  She says I make the cutest faces when I get belly rubs.  I am crate trained and house-trained.  Have you heard about those dogs who are most comfortable in their crate?  Well, I'm one of them!  I really like to hang out and sleep in my crate, even if someone's home.  I also enjoy a tasty treat at the end of a long day (sleeping and trying to chase squirrels is a lot of work).

I have something I'm still learning, and that's how to be less nervous around people.  I'm also working on being less skittish when anyone in our home makes unexpected moves.  I trust my foster dad less than my foster mom, as I've made her my "person".   I do let my foster dad take me on walks - did I mention I love my walks?? - and we have a lot of fun when we're outside together.  He also gives me those yummy treats, so I'm getting used to him.  I guess I just need extra time to warm up and feel comfy with everyone around me.  I am looking for a quiet home without too many visitors and too much action outside.

Are you my forever family?  I can promise to LOVE LOVE LOVE you forever, and you'll know because my tail wags a lot when I'm happy!
