Meet OBG’s “honorary cocker,” Buddy!  He is possibly a West Highland White terrier mix and is estimated to be around 7 years old.  His owner passed away, and the extended family was not able to keep him.  However, OBG jumped at the chance to take this fellow.

Buddy is no stranger to food and weighs in at a whopping 33.5 lbs! (He should weigh 25 to 30 lbs.)  He currently is on a weight loss program that includes prescription food and lots of short walks.   He loves going for walks, and he has great leash manners.  Buddy also LOVES the fenced yard - he will hang outside all by himself.  He also truly enjoys car rides and eagerly hops into the vehicle.

Overall, Buddy is a very low-key pup.  He follows his foster parents around and will lay at their feet once he realizes they aren’t going to get off that sofa!  Buddy doesn’t seem interested in getting on furniture.  Buddy will bark when he needs to go potty and, so far, has had no accidents in his foster home.  He is a nearly perfect boy.

Since Buddy LOVES hanging around outside, he is looking for a single family home with a securely fenced-in yard (no e-fences).  He takes pain medicine for his arthritis (another reason why it's so important for Buddy to lose weight), and Apoquel for allergies.

If you think you can provide Buddy with the home he desires, please contact his foster mom today.
