Victoria

There are times when a dog comes to OBG with signs of such obvious neglect that there are no words to adequately describe it. In ten year old Victoria’s case, she arrived at OBG with a desperate need for ear surgery by a surgeon who specializes in removal of infected ear canals at a cost of approximately $3,500. Victoria’s ears were incredibly painful, oozing horrible smelling pus and the infection was so bad that her ear flaps wouldn’t even lay down! 

Victoria also requires long term care for her chronic skin issues which left her bald in many places, treatment by a cardiologist for sick sinus syndrome, removal of a growth on her eye and treatment for dry eye. Her total medical bills will easily exceed $6,000.

Victoria is in a foster home now and doing well with the other dogs in her home.  She is learning to trust again after such neglect and pain in her previous life. Victoria is housebroken and walks well on a leash.  She will bark when left alone so she is looking for a single family home -- no condos or townhouses for this girl!
