Maizey

Please welcome Maizey to OBG Cocker Rescue!  Maizey is masquerading as an "honorary cocker", but we believe she is actually a puggle (pug and beagle mix).  Maizey is around 6 years old and weighs 25 pounds.  Her prior family wasn't able to keep her, so she is looking for a new place to hang her leash.

We can't say enough good things about this great dog.  Maizey is an incredibly sweet girl, who desperately wants to please her people, and she loves to give kisses.  She is house-trained and rides nicely in the car.  She charmed the shelter workers by her ability to catch treats in the air.  She has free rein of the house when no one is home. Maizey is also a quick learner! Check out a video of her learning "Sit"!   She sleeps in a cushy chair in the master bedroom at night.  Maizey is loving living with 3 dog-savvy boys all 8y+.

Maizey's ideal home would be one with an active family that takes her on outings.  She would adore kids to play fetch with her.  A fenced-in backyard (no e-fences) would be a plus, but not a must if you can get her enough exercise, so she can enjoy chasing squirrels.
