PUPPY ALERT!  Introducing Trixie!!!  Are you looking for a high energy puppy?  Ready to do some training?  If so, Trixie might be the puppy for you.

Trixie is a 10#, ~7 month old terrier mix, who was found as a stray in southwest VA.  We don't think she was on the streets for long, as her coat was silky soft upon coming into rescue.  She has been checked out at our vet's office, spayed, and is now looking for her forever home.

Trixie loves to play with stuffed toys and to chew on bones.  She does great with her canine foster siblings, and she loves people.  Like many terriers, she adores burrowing under blankets and she'll fall asleep in your arms.  This girl plays hard and then sleeps hard.  Trixie is super curious about the world and full of spunk.

Because Trixie is working on house-training and enjoys chewing, she is crated when no one is home.  Since a good rule of thumb is that dogs should not be crated for more than 6 hours a day total, Trixie is looking for a home with someone around for most of the day.
