Pete

Meet Pete!  Pete has the sweetest face!  He’s around 8 years old and 20 pounds.  He was found as a stray at the Charleston, SC shelter and so happy to move up north to be an OBG pup.

Everyone who has met Pete has said he is the sweetest guy.  He loves attention, but isn't overly needy - he just likes to be near you like a true velcro cocker.  He rides quietly in the car, walks well on leash, and loves belly rubs!  His hearing is just OK and his peripheral vision is a bit limited, but he responds to verbal cues and gets around well.  He is eager to please and is quite food motivated, so it will be easy to add more cues to his repertoire.  He is also good with other dogs.

Pete's formerly gooey eyes cleared up nicely with treatment, and he is steadily gaining some much needed weight.  Currently, Pete is working on perfecting his house-training skills, which is understandable given that he spent a long time at the shelter and vet's office.
