Joey is a southern gentleman hailing from Alabama!  Joey's previous owner moved into an assisted living facility and surrendered Joey to a local shelter.  Once we saw Joey's adorable pictures, we knew we had to bring him up north!  He arrived on transport and has been charming everyone since his arrival.  Joey is a 7 year old cocker spaniel and shitzu mix that weighs 38 pounds.

Joey is good with dogs, cats and kids.  He is housebroken, walks well on the leash and rides quietly in the car.  Joey's overall temperament is mellow; however, he does enjoy a good game of tug-of-war with his humans and loves to play with other dogs.  He is not a lap dog, but has never met a belly rub that he didn't like.  Joey would prefer a home with another canine companion and would prefer not be left alone for long hours each day.

If you are looking for a dog that has a wonderful easy going temperament, Joey may be the dog for you.  Please email his foster at the link below if you would like to know more about adopting this special boy.
