Oakleigh

Hi!  My name is Oakleigh, and I'm an honorary cocker who was found tied to a park bench in southern Maryland.  I was severely underweight, so I'm super glad that nice people got me some help.  I'm so happy to be with all the cockers at OBG even though I look more like a Tibetan terrier mix!  The vet estimates that I am around 6 years of age (likely younger), and I now weigh 21 pounds.  I still need to gain several pounds, as that is too skinny!  

My very big news is that I made it to a foster home on Aug 8th.  I am impressing my new foster mom with all my skills.  She says I'm a very good dog.  I am house-trained (no accidents), and I have free run of the house when no one is home because I don't get into any trouble.  I LOVE to be outside (even in this hot weather) and to RUN.  I make my foster mom laugh by the way I bound around the yard in a loping/hopping/bouncing style.  I would really like another playful dog in my new home.
