Hello, my name is Laila, and I am looking for a forever home! Can you please open your home for me? I am around 3 years old, 70 pounds, and I want to be your one and only girl!  I'm such a wonderful girl that I know you wouldn't want to share me, anyway.  I am completely housebroken.  I walk well on the leash and ride quietly in the car.  I have a moderate energy level, but I'm not hyperactive.  I would do great in a single family home, townhouse or condo.  I am an amazing combination of Australian Shepherd and Cattle dog mix (I think), and my coloring is just gorgeous.

I love chew toys, people (including kids over 8), human beds, belly rubs and Nylabones.  I also love snow- Check me out in a video here!  I'm super easy!  I'm also sooo happy to be alive.  Before OBG, I was on "death row" at a rural shelter in South Carolina after my owner surrendered me, until an OBG volunteer heard about my plight and quickly convinced the rescue to save my life, even though I'm not a cocker spaniel.  I was pulled a mere half hour before I was scheduled to be put down.  Talk about a close call!
