Maya

Meet Maya!  Maya recently arrived from a Virginia shelter where she was dropped off by a Good Samaritan.  Maya is a 2-3 year old, 32# beautiful beagle/spaniel mix with a gorgeous fluffy long tail.

Maya is a very sweet, but timid, girl, who loves to snuggle.  She will crawl onto your lap and shower you with affection.  Maya was clearly someone's pet in her past.  So far, we have discovered that Maya knows sit, lie down, and paw.  She made herself right at home on a dog bed, and she was thrilled when presented with a selection toys.  She is house-trained and loves to be outside, so a fenced yard is a must for this girl.  Maya is scared of loud noises and fast movements; therefore, we do not recommend young children.  She rides quietly in a car.  Maya needs an experienced dog-savvy family who will treat her like a cherished family member.
