Walt
Adult | Male | Adopted
Look who waltzed into OBG! It's Walt! Walt was found as a stray in Virginia and traveled to OBG for a better life. Walt was named in honor of long time OBG volunteer and adopter who recently passed away.
Walt is a gorgeous black and white, 30-pound cocker spaniel. He is approximately 8 years old and does fine with the four dogs in his foster home. He is crate-trained and working on his housebreaking skills. Walt has double cataracts and will need to be seen by our northern Virginia eye specialist; our paws are crossed that he is a candidate for the $2,500 OBG-sponsored cataract removal surgery to restore his eyesight. His first appointment is June 5.
Walt hears very well, loves to roll around, and his little nub doesn't stop wagging! He rides great in the car, too. We don't know about kids or cats yet.
