Look who waltzed into OBG?  It's Walt!  Walt was found as a stray in Virginia and traveled to OBG for a better life.  Walt was named in honor of long time OBG volunteer and adopter who recently passed away.

Walt is a gorgeous black and white, 30 pound cocker spaniel.   He is approximately 8 years old and did fine with other dogs in the shelter.   Walt has double cataracts and will need to be seen by our norther Virginia eye specialist and our paws are crossed that he is a candidate for the $2500 OBG-sponsored cataract removal surgery.

Walt also has a painful baseball size tumor hanging from his ear that will be surgically removed and biopsied plus a much needed dental in the same surgery.  Walt hears very well and has been super sweet at with the vet staff.  He is keeping his crate clean too.  We don't know about cats or kids yet.

Walt is ready for a foster that can help transport him to his eye specialist appointments in northern Virginia area. If you can foster Walt please send an email at the link below or email fosters@cockerspanielrescue.com.
