Snoopy

OBG answered a plea to save 12-year-old Snoopy after his owner passed away.  Family members had taken him to a vet to be put to sleep, but when the vet said "no" because Snoopy had much more life to live, the family dropped him at a rural North Carolina shelter. The shelter alerted us to several fixable medical concerns, so we quickly transported Snoopy here to address the issues. 

What saved Snoopy's life is his temperament - he is the sweetest guy!!  He is calm and loving with everyone.  He walks well on a leash, is quiet in the car, and goes to the back door if he needs to go potty.  This fellow enjoys walks and spending time cuddling with people.  He loves watermelon, and he occasionally plays with a stuffed toy.  He does not get up on furniture, and he sleeps on a dog bed in his people's bedroom.

All of Snoopy's medical issues have been addressed.  He had ear ablation surgery, so he is totally deaf, but that doesn't seem to bother him in the slightest.  He is learning hand signals. Snoopy does have allergies, like so many of our cockers do, so he'll need a special diet.
