Sampson

Sampson is a ~5 year old doggie, who weighs 32 pounds and has a cute little docked tail.  Sampson is super friendly, gets along well with other dogs, and is house-trained.  He is working on his leash skills but is a fast learner and is eager to please.  Sampson loves to be petted and be out and about in the yard.

During Sampson's initial vetting with OBG, our vet detected a heart murmur.  We had him examined by a heart specialist, and he is now on a series of daily meds.  He is doing very well in his foster home and with his foster sibling.  As of Dec 2016, the vet thinks that Sampson will likely go into heart failure in ~2 years or so, and that he'll be able to be managed with medications for another 1-2 years.  Of course, he could always surprise us!  While he will need a special home, Sampson is definitely adoptable and hoping his angel comes along and scoops him up.
