Woof! My name is Rockie and I'm a lover not a fighter! I'm pretty new to OBG and I'm learning the ropes in my new foster home. I'm only 4 years old and in the lightweight class -- just 19 pounds!
:-)

Life has been topsy turvy lately so I'm little nervous and cautious. You see, I lived with a family but my main caretaker moved away so they thought it best that I come to OBG.  I'm enjoying having a doggie foster sister but I haven't met any cats yet so I don't have an opinion. I used to live with some kids, but I think I'm over that phase of my life - they startle me and I also love having all the toys to myself - so a home with no human kiddos would be best.

People comment that I look like a Border Collie, just mini!  I'm not sure w
ho my parents were but I definitely think I have some Spaniel and maybe Doxie or Papillon in in my genes. No matter though because I'm 100% adorable. I also know a few things like how to sit and dance on my hind legs for a treat.

Did I mention how much I LOVE toys too? Especially this squeaky, spikey ball in my foster house. I bring it to my foster parents and drop it so I can fetch it. Oh, so much fun! They say I would probably really enjoy agility training as I'm really smart, eager to please and could use a little help gaining confidence.

Right now, I live in the city and spend a lot of time looking out the window and protecting my loved ones from dreaded pedestrians.  My bark is surprisingly deep for my small size, but I don't overdo it - I'm living in a rowhouse with no complaints so far. I can be active when you want to be and just cuddle up on the couch when you want to relax too. Oh, I give gentle kisses too!

I love the outside!  Because of that, I'm really doing well learning the doggy door.  I was housetrained in my prior home, and am just getting a refresher course in my new one.  Walks are tops on my list and I do pretty well on the leash.
