Hershey Girl

Please welcome Hershey Girl back to OBG! Hershey's originally owner was unable to care for her due to illness and we welcomed Hershey back with open paws. Hershey is 13 years old, 25 pounds with the softest fur and as sweet as her name.  She’s also very calm and quiet - she hasn't barked yet!

Hershey spends most of her time snoozing on her own around her foster home.  She is living with another pup in the home and does great.  Although Hershey is blind, she doesn't let that stop her as she navigates her foster home.  She loves going outside to sniff around, and even enjoys going on short, slow walks. While we aren’t sure how well Hershey can hear, she sure can smell when there are treats around!  Hershey is house trained and tries her best to wait until she's outside. She would do best with an adopter who can let her outside at regular intervals.  Hershey has Cushing’s disease and takes daily meds.
