Lucky
Young | Male | Adopted
Lucky is my name and now that I’ve been rescued, lucky describes my life, too. I am a one year old, 27 pound Australian sheperd-spaniel mix that did not have the greatest start in life. My prior owners would leave me outside in an unfenced yard all day and then got upset whenever I would leave the yard to go exploring. Eventually they got tired of me leaving the unfenced yard so they took me to a kill shelter. That’s where OBG stepped in to save my life and boy am I thankful because I have a lot of living left to do!
I was a little nervous when I first arrived at my foster home, but it did not take me long to realize that everyone was going to be nice to me and I could relax. My favorite thing about my foster home is the other dogs. I just love other dogs so much and would love a canine companion when I get adopted, preferably one that will want to play with me. I don’t care if the dog is bigger or smaller than me as long as he likes to play! I would also really like a fenced in yard because I have a lot of energy.
One thing that I don’t like is to be crated. Other than that, I’m pretty easy going once I get to know you. I’ll give you kisses and I love to have my ears scratched. I also do this thing where I like to lay along the back of the sofa with my head resting on my foster mommy or foster daddy’s head. I think it’s pretty cute, if I do say so myself.
