Events

We have regularly scheduled adoption shows around the DC, MD and NoVA areas - come see us, we don't bite (a little doggie humor)!  It's a great opportunity for you to meet a few of our dogs at once, as well as to talk to our volunteers, who are happy to answer questions or suggest good matches.  While attending a show can give you a good sense of the dog's color, size and personality, the best information will come from contacting the dog's foster family - a link is listed at the bottom of each dog's bio.

Though we list dogs that plan to attend, unexpected circumstances may result in the dog not making it to the show or the show being cancelled - please check this page the morning of the show!  If you let us know beforehand that you are coming for a specific dog, we will make an effort to contact you if that dog can't make it or the show is cancelled.
