Lucky

Lucky is feeling really lucky!  He landed with OBG as only 1 of 2 pups to get out of a South Carolina shelter that week.  We felt he was so lucky that we named him Lucky! 

Lucky was found as a stray and turned in by a good samaritan.  He is an estimated 5 year old shy boy who did well with dogs at the shelter where he lived in a "cat cage" due to overcrowding.  Our vet said Lucky was very friendly and easy to handle for his exams.  We did just learn that Lucky was not-so-lucky as he is heart worm positive.  Lucky has started the life-saving OBG-sponsored $1500 treatment that lasts approximately 3 months.
