Pepper

Hello world, I'm Pepper, a 5 year old  cockapoo girl!  I am a very theatrical girl who reveals her talents very slowly.   True to my name, I do have pep in my step - fast and very agile.  If it's snack time, I do a little tap dance to entertain my foster mom.  She says I hang on her every word and like to offer my paw.   I am the whole package wrapped up in black and white with black spots.  Can’t wait for my hair to grow back because I am a real beauty.  I'm a people person and love lap time but don’t worry I am all of 15 pounds.  I can lap sit through 3 TV shows.  I am quite a ball player.  You won’t believe what I can do with that ball.   I love stuffed toys with lots of dangling parts.  I can twirl but haven’t revealed that trick as yet.  I was taught proper manners.   Foster mom thinks I understand English because I do what she tells me to do.  I come immediately when called even outside when I want to chase squirrels.  Best of all I come and sit with my head bowed while she puts on my leash for a walk.  

Since I'm in a foster home, I've been able to show them what a good girl I am.  I'm very gentle and good with older kids (I've lived with them before) but do not want to be teased.   I'm also house trained and good with other dogs. It would be great fun to live with another dog and play games.  You see, I may be 5 but I haven’t slowed down yet.  Foster mom was bragging about me the other day, talking about how sweet and gentle I am -- that made me blush.  She thinks I was not allowed on the furniture but because I hate sitting on the floor she let’s me sit in a chair and rest on the couch so I can see out the window.  I don’t bark a lot but sometimes I need to prove I am protecting my family.  I do not bark at strangers because I love making friends.
