Leroy

I'm one of the Sweet Sixteen, rescued by OBG with fifteen of my closest friends and relatives!

My name is Leroy and I'm a very sweet ~8-year-old retriever mix.  I'm happy to report I have settled into my foster home quite nicely.  I am the only pup here but there are a few resident kitties here and we all get along just fine!

If I'm not getting some lovin' from my humans, you'll usually find me hanging out in my crate.  It's my safe place, and I often go there just to chill out.  I'm hoping my forever family will have a crate for me to spend time in too!  Some may call me an introvert because I don't mind spending time alone on occasion.  I enjoy my company after all!

I am very, very affectionate and love to give kisses.  Sometimes, I use this schmoozing in hopes of scoring some human food, but often that doesn't pan out.  Hey, it's worth a shot, right?  I have a good nose so I'm never far when I smell something brewing in the kitchen.  I can't say the same for my ears though, they don't seem to hear too well these days.  It's no biggie though, I never miss out on anything that goes on around here.

One final thing, I absolutely LOVE going on walks.   I hope you like to exercise too!  Foster mom spoils me and takes me for 3 walks every day.  I get so excited when I spot squirrels or deer...it's hard to contain myself!  That's all for now...drop me a line so we can meet up in the fur!
