Snickers

Snickers is one of the Sweet 16, a group of dogs taken in from a farm in West Virginia. He's a very handsome, 4-year-old buff gentleman who is sweet as can be. At our intake vet, Snickers got the works: vaccines, a shave-down, a dental, and a neuter. He's in tip-top shape now and ready to interview some forever homes! 

Like many cockers, Snickers feels his best on grain-free food, which is easily found at all the local pet stores. He loves mealtimes and gets a case of the wiggles when his foster mom is getting ready to scoop the kibble. 

Snickers is on the shy side and warms up quicker to women than he does to men. With a gentle touch and some tasty treats, his affections can be won. Because of his early life, Snickers will need a little more understanding and help to readjust to life as a house dog rather than a farm dog. He is working hard on his housebreaking skills and looks forward to having an accident-free week in the near future!

The perfect home for Snickers would be one with patient, caring humans who will help him blossom into the wonderful, sweet boy that we know he can be. Snickers knows he can be a Good Boy—he just needs a coach or two to help him on the way!
