Clooney

Did you know that famed actor George Clooney is the proud owner of a rescued black cocker spaniel?!  That's how this little fella landed his name; he was a stray and resembles the cute, curly pup of Mr. Clooney.  We are proud to introduce you to, and welcome, 5-6 year old Clooney to our clan!

Besides his dashing good looks, this boy also has a wonderful personality - he's practically perfect!  He's incredibly fond of all humans and will look at you with his big brown eyes just begging for affection.  His little nub of a tail wags non stop.  And other dogs in the home don't bother him one bit.  He walks beautifully on a leash, is quiet in the home and is perfectly housetrained.  He's one laid-back dude.  His only minor quirk is that he occasionally gets frightened when he thinks he's all alone and starts to howl (it's hard not to find it endearing and rush to his aid!), which is why we don't think he's a great fit for families with an apartment or townhouse.  Otherwise, he's just go with the flow.

This very sweet boy has gotten "the works" since he landed on our doorstep!  He's been neutered, undergone cherry eye surgery, received a much needed dental AND stopped in to see the cardiologist.  Whew, this guy's been through the wringer!  He's come out on top though, as he's looking and feeling worlds better than when he arrived.  The heart doctor diagnosed Clooney with a heart murmur and would like to see him again in 8 months, but no meds are needed at this time!  We've started him on Omega-3 supplements at meal time, no biggie!  Our friend also has something called "dry eye," for which he gladly lets us give him daily eye drops.

All the poking and prodding that got our lovely boy to where he is today, did not faze him in the least.  He's a cheery, loving and very fun boy to be around.
