Who is this handsome golden buff boy? Why it's Bert! (No Ernie, sorry. That would have been adorable.) Bert had been wandering the streets of Virginia for quite some time before being picked up by animal control; he was dirty and his coat was completely matted. No problem! After a shave-down and a bath, he was looking and smelling great!
Our vet estimates that Bert is about 2 years old. He still has plenty of puppy energy, so he'd be great for a home with active humans. (We'll be assessing him with children shortly, since we all know that children are some of the most active humans!)
Thus far, we can report that Bert is a) adorable, b) very energetic, and c) going to need a home with a yard or someone who can get him exercised regularly. This silly boy is no couch potato! He'll be ready for a foster home soon, so if you're interested in getting to know him, send us an email.
