We check our local shelters regularly because we want to be sure that all the local Cockers have the benefits of a foster home and an indefinite amount of time to find their forever home. Sally was said (by the shelter) to be the nicest Cocker that they ever had there. And since we pull a lot of dogs, this is very high praise!

This 10-11 year old was surrendered by an owner who could no longer afford to care for her. We're currently getting her treated for an ear infection, but otherwise, her health appears to be quite good but she does have some "special" ears that will need life long meticulous care and special medication each day.

Sally has a medium energy level, so a couple nice walks each day will be plenty of exercise to keep her happy and healthy. She's good with other dogs and has lived with children in the past but because of some leg/hip problems this girl can not jump much and can stumble on hard floors.  So Sally will not be a good match for young kids. She needs lots of TLC and a quiet home to be pampered in. We have not yet tested her with cats, but we can if you're interested.
