Mossy

We’ve had a lot of dogs come through OBG over the years, but this is our first one named Mossy!  This 8 year old cocker was given the name by her original owner, who could no longer care for her and turned her in to the shelter for a chance at a better life.  Mossy didn’t let it get her down – in fact, since she spent the last 5 years as an outside dog, she’s ready for a change!  She’s been pretty energetic since she arrived, maybe it’s because she’s excited for what lies ahead.

Mossy is a very sweet girl who is friendly to all, humans and dogs alike.  She even shared a kennel with a canine companion at the shelter.  Mossy has already been quite a hit with everyone she’s met, greeting our transporter and clients at the vet’s office like long lost buddies.  One look into those large, expressive brown eyes that light up her face and you’ll be smitten with her too!

We aren’t too sure about her house manners yet, though signs are pointing at her being a welcome house guest.  She lived inside a home for her first 3 years and hasn’t had accidents in her crate yet.  She also rode well in the car.

As we continue to learn about Mossy, we’ll let you know more – but for the time being, we’re content to report that she’s a darling, sweetheart looking for a home that will treat her like the treasure she is!
