Winston

Winston is an adorable, 8-month-old puppy that was surrendered to the shelter because his owners did not want a dog with a medical condition. You see, Winston had a couple seizures around the holidays. He was put on medication (one pill at breakfast, one at dinner) and hasn't had a seizure since January, but they decided they would rather give him up. OBG to the rescue! There are plenty of great dogs who are perfectly healthy thanks to two pills a day.

This boy is a total sweetheart and greets everyone like they're his long lost best friend. He's full of puppy energy and fun, fun, fun. He likes the other dogs he's met and since he's young, he can easily be trained to ignore cats if you happen to have feline friends. We have not yet tested him with children.

While puppies are a lot of work, Winston is housebroken, so that hurdle is already behind him! Attending a basic manners class run by a positive trainer will deepen your bond and help him grow into the perfect companion. Please ask us if you need recommendation for a good trainer - we know lots of them!

As a bonus, Winston is already microchipped.
