Introducing Margaret!

Update: Great news!  This sweetheart has been ADOPTED! 

Meet Margaret, the sweet chocolate cocker who is named in memory of late OBG volunteer, Margaret S.  Margaret S. (pictured with husband, Harry, and OBG alum angel Parker) was an active behind-the-scenes volunteer who always wanted to do more for the pups, even though she already did so much for OBG! She was an extremely generous Matching Fund Donor; gave and sold items for OBG; worked tirelessly on our Fundraising Team Member to set up, provide goodie bags and cook; attended numerous OBG Board Meetings and events; and of course, adopted many lucky pups over the years. 

Margaret's celebration of life was in December and the family requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made in her memory to OBG.  Even as an angel, she's still helping our dogs.

Now, as 10 year old sweetie Margaret starts her new life with OBG, we can think of no better way to honor Margaret and all the pups to whom she helped give a second chance at a great life than by naming this sweet cocker in her honor!

As of New Year's Eve, Margaret is in need of a foster home now after being kenneled for several weeks with pneumonia.  She is feeling so much better now and ready to kick off the new year in a warm, cozy home.  Can you open your home and heart for Margaret to make 2020 a wonderful year?  Learn more about her here.
