Farewell to Bode

The Rainbow Bridge has gained another sweet Cocker Angel! Our Bode joined the other angels on January 17th. He had been diagnosed in early December with cancer and his foster Dad brought him in to our vet very weak and pale. Sadly it was time to let him go. His Dad and staff at Crosspointe Animal Hospital cuddled him and helped him cross the bridge. He is now at peace. Run free, Bode! You will be forever missed.

You may remember Bode was one of the Freedom 46 rescues. He was the super skinny, mostly bald sweet boy rescued from the barn on July 25, 2015. We are eternally grateful to his foster Dad, Steve, and his wife and Steve's parents for the amazing job they did to nurture him back to good health and all their love. The transformation into a furry, happy boy is so heartwarming and inspiring. We are so sorry for their loss.
