Jon

Jon is an absolutely wonderful dog!  He is a 4'ish year old, 20 pound possible Pomeranina-Papillon mix.  Jon is completely housetrained and very obedient with an overall very calm demeanor. He transitioned to his foster’s house with very little adjustment and has fit in easily with the daily routine. 

He is loving and soaks up as much attention as he can get.  He follows his people around the house and if they stop at all will plop himself down right next to their feet.    He is very docile and easy to handle—he can be picked up, wiped down, harnessed and touched everywhere.    He is very light, but agile and fit, so would make a great walking and hiking partner.   

Jon is not a picky eater and he enjoys treats, but he is not that food motivated, so he does not beg and eats like a gentlemen with no food aggression.   He does really enjoy his walks and makes funny noises to hurry his people along when he realizes that the harness and leash are coming out.   He is eager to explore his world but has nice leash manners.  On walks, he has met and enjoyed children.  And he seems engaged by younger and more playful dogs, but he likes attention so much that being an only dog would be fine for him too. Jon would be a great addition to any family who wants a loving  companion.
