Fred

Meet Fred!  Fred is a 5-6 year old, 20-pound non-shedding mix of bichon body, poodle face and 100% cuteness.  Fred comes to OBG by way of North Carolina, where his owner could no longer care for him and reached out to us!  Fred is living with another pup his size in his foster home and doing very well.

Fred is an easy fit dog and is house trained.  He is a super-affectionate cuddlebug who will sit on your lap for hours.  He is very docile and can be picked up easily, so we think he would do well with all ages.  He likes smaller dogs but is a bit reactive on the leash when he spots the larger ones.  He loves long walks but he is calm in the house.  Fred licks his paws, and we are trying to determine if it's behavioral or allergy related.  When active, he is fine, but at night or when left alone in the house, he wears a cone, which he wears readily.  Finally, Fred has a cataract in one eye but has great vision in the other eye.
