Hi, I’m Lucy! Gee wiz, am I enjoying my new life since I arrived here in the area from North Carolina! I love people – well, the adult ones only – and I really want to please you. And boy, do I love being outside! There are so many smells, and I love the squirrels and those birds. When I am out walking, people say that I am beautiful. They probably think I’m strange for wagging my tail the entire walk, but I am so happy! I love to cuddle and roll over so you can rub my belly. I am 5 years old and 20 pounds of happiness.   

I am looking for an experienced adopter who will understand me.  Like when I see people outside, or hear noises, I react by barking.  My ideal forever home is as an only dog so I don’t have to share your love. I am crate and house trained. I would love a house with a fenced yard in the suburbs as I am not a city or condo girl!
