Baxter

Say hello to Mr. Personality! This little terrier mix, Baxter, is as cute and sweet as can be. He was found as a stray and we think he's ~2 years old.  He is a petite 15 pounds of love. 

Baxter is extremely friendly and playful and has truly never met a stranger - he knows how to have a good time!  We think he would be great with people of all ages.  Baxter was terrific with all of the dogs at the animal shelter, and he is doing well with his foster dog friend.

Baxter knows some cues, such as "sit", and he is working on his leash manners (good thing is only weighs #15).  Baxter's one issue when he came to us was he did like to be crated or left alone - he has some separation anxiety.  After a few months in his foster home he has improved and now just watches out the window for his foster family to return.  He might prefer another dog in the home too.  He might also do best with someone who is home more often.  Experience with separation anxiety (or a willingness to learn) would be helpful.
