Missy

Hi!  My name is Missy, and I am a nine month old cocker and collie mix weighing 35 pounds.  I am a very young, happy and very energetic dog who is great with people and older kids.  Since I am so playful, bigger dogs and cats as well as kids are best for me.  I like to chase cats and am learning that I am not supposed to do this.  Since I have so much energy, I like to go on walks.  I do very well on leash. Well . . . I do pull a little on leash, so I think a doggie class would be a great way for me to learn all kinds of things and bond with my people.   Sometimes I know the word "sit" and know the word "no". 

I ride well in the car and love being groomed.  When someone leaves the house I cry a bit but eventually settle down.  As I get to know you and trust that you will come back to me, I will learn not to cry.  I can be a bit vocal so condo and apartment like are not the idea places for me.  Chewing on toys calms me down, but nothing is better than a good old fashioned belly rub.  Oh My-Oh-My!  Just rub my belly and I calm right on down!  Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!!!
