Fox

Fox is a friend of many Cockers, and has many of the same traits but is actually a purebred Schipperke, rescued from the mountains of Shenandoah!  He is between 8 and 10 but don’t let his age fool you – he is a puppy at heart and plays like one too!  Fox is a very happy boy and loves all people, no matter what age.  He also loves all other animals (dogs, cats, even horses!) but because of how he grew up, he wants to be the only animal getting all the love from his human companions.  If he feels like he has to compete for their love, he might decide to mark his humans’ favorite places – just so they know how much he loves them….. Therefore, it is best for Fox to be the only animal in the household.  But when his cocker friends come over for a play, all he needs is his ‘belly band’ and accidents can be avoided.  Fox also loves to go for long walks and is extremely dedicated to his humans; he will follow them anywhere!  He loves a good snuggle, would  be happy to sit on your lap for as long as you can stand it and loves to give lots and lots of kisses.  Fox also is happy to go for rides in the car – any adventure with his human is a good one! He has all his shots and has no health issues, other than maybe being a little pudgy!   Fox would prefer to be in a place where he gets lots of exercise – but doesn’t need a lot of space.  Backyards are fun, but only if his human wants to be out there with him!
