Spencer

My name is Spencer, and I have just arrived here at OBG.  I am about four years old and weigh 21 pounds.  My previous owner decided that I needed to be in a calm house and should probably be the only dog.  You see, my old house had a lot of kids, there was a lot of noise, and they had a very big, active dog.  I was uncomfortable with all that and hope that my "furever"home will be a quiet one.  I have heard from other dogs that when they have obedience training, they feel much better and have more confidence.  I am crossing my paws that I get to have some of that training.  Needing obedience training doesn't mean that I have a lot of problems, it just means that I need more confidence.  I have many great qualities that would only get better with training.  Walks are one of my favorite things to do, and I walk very nicely on leash.  If I see another dog or other people, I do tend to bark.  I enjoy playing tug of war with my toys and am crate trained.  I also ride well in the car.  Like many cockers, I tend to form a strong bond with one person.  I was very attached to my former owner, but I know I will love another person again.  Could you be that person?  Please keep checking my page.  As OBG learns more about me, they will update my bio so that special person will want me.  Until then, I am wagging my tail and crossing my paws for that special someone.
