Annie
Adult | Female | Adopted
Hi, Y'all. I'm Annie. A friend and I took that midnight train up from Georgia when it got too cold for us to be squatting in an unheated shed. Now I'm enjoying being an indoor OBG dog, with medical and beauty benefits. I'm a 6 year old petite girl (20#). Mellow and beautiful.
I'm an extrovert. I love to meet people and dogs, but I'm very polite about it and even do okay with cats too. I surprised the vet tech by planting a big kiss on his cheek while he took my temperature. I angle to get my foster family on the sofa so I can cuddle them while they read or knit. I sleep quietly in my crate, but have been hinting that I'd rather be in bed with the people. My foster brother worries about me getting too close. I wait until he's busy being petted, and then I lean against him gently. I don't need a playful dog friend, but I'd prefer one who was more affectionate. My foster mom has only one bad quality. On those rare occasions when I squat in the house, she squeals, picks me up, and races outside. She's so nervous about my squatting in the house that she's squealed a couple times when I was only intending to sit. I'm a fast learner though, so she doesn't have to worry too much.
