Update: Her time with us was too short but she was so loved. China, our sweetest ‪Oldie but Goodie‬ at age 18, passed away yesterday. China had declined in recent days and began to have uncontrollable seizures yesterday and was rushed to our vet. She went peacefully to the Rainbow Bridge with her loving fosters at her side.

China only joined us last month as one of OBG's Saves of Christmas. She had been found as a stray and her owners declined to take her back. We thank her foster parents, Randy and Sue, for giving her a wonderful home these past few weeks and the chance to be loved. Rest in Peace, China.

Say hello to our golden girl, China!  This cocker/chow mix is a mature 18-year-old who sadly, has not known much love in her life.  She spent all of her days tied to a chain and even after going blind several years ago, the length of her chain was her world.  China showed up as a stray and when the owner came to reclaim her, as they had 12 other dogs this year, a rescue angel persuaded them to surrender her.

China is in pretty good shape for her age.  She is being treated for Lyme, hookworms, glaucoma, etc - but considering all things, we're pleased with her condition.  She has the most loving and gentle temperament.  One of our OBG foster angels graciously welcomed her into their home and are thrilled to be a part of China's happy ending.

We could not save deserving ones like this without your kind donations throughout the year.  Thank you for supporting OBG.
