Chewy

Say hello to our boy, Chewy.  You can't miss this 7-year-old fella because he is literally very BIG!   He is a pure bred cocker and initially arrived weighing 66 pounds, his ideal weight is 35 pounds.  The good news is he's already lost 8 of those pesky pounds!  After shedding some weight, Chewy already has more energy.  This is great because he loves to go on walks and he also tries to play with and chase his foster sister around.   Other than his weight, he's in excellent health.

Chewy is a earning lots of brownie points in his foster home.  He has impressed many with his superb leash manners, great behavior in the car and he's 100% housebroken.  This boy is a true shadow, he follows his person everywhere they go.  His humans don't mind at all because he's so sweet and affectionate.  We think he'll become even more playful as he continues to lose weight!

Chewy is looking for a family who can resist his sad puppy eyes if he's begging for food.  His weight needs to be carefully monitored.  We can't wait to see his "after" pictures!
