Harpo

Hello World,

Allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Harpo and I am a fabulous six-year old cocker spaniel of the sporting variety – tall, lean and ready to roll.  I am very elegant.  I have a silky, deep black with a thin white stripe down my chest.  Pictures don’t do justice to my elegant figure and my handsome face but, trust me, I am even better in person!

My house manners are flawless.  I can be trusted alone in the house for more than eight hours (though I’d much rather have company around!) without an accident or misdeed.  I walk politely on a leash and never tug or pull, even when a tempting squirrel goes by.   I like other dogs and kids.  I really, really like toys of all types.

I am super good company, too.  I like to play fetch.  I am really good at it and I never forget to bring the ball back, ever.  I am also a very exceptionally good cuddler.  I know how to snuggle without putting too much weight on my snugglee while still making them feel appropriately loved.  I try really hard to guess what will make my people happy and to deliver on it. 

Did I mention I am also an educated fellow?  I can sit, lay down and even give high fives.  I am a quick learner and could learn so much more! 

I mentioned above that I am a sporting type.  I am a very lean 33.5 pounds, tall and well-proportioned.  I would be a terrific running buddy for short jogs and would be a terrific hiking partner.  And, of course, I would be really glad to play ball with you anywhere, anytime.
