Binky

Binky made her TV debut on WUSA's Petline 9 -- watch her here! Thanks to Petline 9 for inviting us to appear. 

I'm one of the Sweet Sixteen, rescued by OBG with fifteen of my closest friends and relatives!  I'm lovin' life with the rescue because I'm getting so much love and attention.  I'm 11 years young and couldn't be a happier girl.  I was a favorite at the vet's office where I initially boarded; they described me as "beyond sweet"!  I think it's because of my adorable, irresistible face, plus I've got lots of pep in my step! 

Life in my foster home is pretty grand!  It was true love the moment I spotted my three foster siblings.   They quickly taught me how to use the doggie door, and now that the weather is nice we enjoy spending time outdoors (I was not impressed with the snow!).  The back yard is great for exploring and playing tag.  If I'm inside, you'll often find me on a lap or snuggled next to one of my humans.  I have a favorite rug that I seek out, as well.  My sense of smell is top-notch, so I'm a big fan of the kitchen, too!  My ideal forever home is with a doggie door and humans that are home throughout the day to hang with me and let me outside.

When I first arrived at OBG, I had a mammary mass removed.  The mass turned out to be cancerous, but since it was removed with clean margins, there's a low risk for regrowth.  This is  great news that I like to share with everyone! I do take a little  pill each day to prevent a  rare seizure from time to time

I can't wait to meet you!  I make friends everywhere I go, so I look forward to the day I belong to a family of my very own.  I love all humans and four legged friends.  Actually, I love company so much that I'm looking for a forever home that can provide me with a doggie sibling!  Please reach out soon so we can connect.
