***Scout and Cooper are a bonded pair looking for a forever family together***

Hi everyone, my name is Scout!  I arrived at OBG with my brother Cooper after our family's living situation changed.  As you can tell by my extra curly coat, I'm not your typical cocker, I'm a cockapoo!  I am a sweet and shy boy who wants nothing more than to be by your side and be loved.

For fun, I enjoy walks (watch out birds and squirrels), dashing around the backyard and passing out smooches.  While I like a good snooze, I also have a fun, playful side.  I like squeaky toys and enjoy playtime with Cooper and, who knew how much fun doggie doors are?!  I often zoom in and out over and over again, just for kicks!!  My little nub wags nonstop as I dash in and out - it's quite a sight to see!

I am a happy, fun, affectionate and snuggly boy in my home.  I think my foster mom and Cooper are the best!  However, I have not been socialized much and am fearful of strangers, new sounds and new places.  Right now when I spot someone I don't know, I bark at them and it usually makes them go away.  I just started going to doggie school because I want to learn how to become less worried and more confident...and I'm getting exposure to some nice strangers at the same time!  Cooper and I are looking for a calm adult household, and I should mention he seems to prefer the company of women over men.  We don't mean to be picky, but we're looking for a perfect match so we can find a family to love FOREVER.

One last thing, I just had a birthday!  As of March 9, I'm now a big boy at 4 years old!  It was SO much fun, we celebrated with doggie ice cream and had a blast.    I'm sorry you missed out on the festivities.   I'm sure we'll have lots of great times ahead though if you make me yours!
