My name is Jackson Jay, and I am one lucky duck ... or dog.  Why would I be a duck? Can't a dog be lucky, too?

My owners dropped me off at the shelter because they didn't have the financial means to pay for my ear ablation surgery.  I wanted to say, "Hey, I'm only 5! I have so much love to give! It's just one ear!"

Luckily, OBG heard me.

In mid-January, I will be getting ear ablation surgery in one of my ears.  It will completely alleviate all the pain I've been feeling, but will also leave me deaf in that ear.  Don't worry, I'll just tilt my head and hear you with the other one!  It'll just make me cuter, so don't you worry about me.

For now, I'm hanging my leash at a foster home and celebrating the holidays with some nice people and other dogs. They say that I'm a great boy and that I'm going to make my new family super happy. You'd better email them today if you want to meet me!
