Asta

Cute, curly, and snuggly are some of the words that best describe this little lady who just joined OBG...meet Asta (Lady Amelia)!  Sadly, this beauty recently lost her home when her owner passed away.  She's had a great life and was adored by her owner, who referred to her as his "daughter."  We've assured Asta's extended family we'll find her a loving family who will continue to spoil her rotten.

Asta is an 8-year-old AKC registered sweetheart.  She greets folks warmly, and immediately rolls over for a belly rub.  While at some point in the past she lived with other dogs and a cat, at this point in her life she may prefer to be someone's one and only.  Her ideal home would be one with adults or teenagers, rather than young kids. Asta also needs a family where she will not be left alone for long hours(Asta just gets too lonely without her loved ones around).  This gal is well behaved, housebroken and just wants to be loved.

Asta's foster has been delighted to discover all the tricks that Asta can do.  She clearly was beloved by her prior owner.  This smart girls knows sit, lie down, shake, touch, wait, and probably a bunch more.  She'll even balance a treat on her nose until you tell her "okay".
