Hello world, I'm Red!

I'm a very shy guy but once I get to know you, I'm what's known as a "Power Snuggler". 

My owner had to give me up because of unexpected changes in her life, but I'm so happy to back in a home! My fosters are working with me to build my confidence and I'm getting better every day. We take really long walks together and they tell me what a good boy I am. I like to think of myself as a humble guy, but people often stop to tell my foster parents how beautiful I am! I love to lay on my back and get belly rubs. Sometimes I fall asleep like that with a big smile on my face. People say it's adorable! I doze on my foster parents' laps but I also sleep in my own bed at night. I know some basic commands and I'm calm as can be at feeding time. I wasn't sure about riding in the car, but now I jump right up and settle in for the ride. I just love it when we go to the park and I can check out the squirrels! Oh yeah, I'm housebroken too!

I'm turning 5 soon and would love a quiet forever home where I could continue to blossom in to a great companion and friend. I'd do really well with an experienced doggy owner who can help bring me out of my shell. I'd probably do better in a home without kids. My foster family isn't sure if I'm good with cats and I like some dogs while others make me nervous. I'm in good shape, except for a pesky cataract in my right eye that requires drops every day. I've got a lot of love to give to the right home!
