Curly was surrendered to OBG by his very loving family. They described him as a loving, happy, and devoted pet. Unfortunately, in the years after a new baby was added to the family, it became clear that Curly was uncomfortable with small children. Since we know plenty of adopters with older children, teenagers, or only adults in the home, we knew we could help Curly find his forever home.

Curly is a gentleman in the home and is totally housebroken. In his old house, he roamed free and never had any accidents. He gets along well with other dogs and shares his foster home with two canine siblings. He would prefer a home without cats or children.

His foster mom reports that Curly is the perfect companion and very low maintenance. He is calm and snuggly in the home and enjoys getting out to stretch his legs and explore the back yard. Curly is extremely food-motivated and despite being an "old dog" he can certainly be taught new tricks. At his foster home, he tries to help with chores by licking the plates that his foster mom loads into the dishwasher. What a gentleman!

As a senior, Curly is ready to soak up the good life. He loves snuggling up on the couch with people, giving lots of kisses, taking walks so he can sniff his neighborhood, and then taking a long nap. Won't you welcome Curly into your home?
